Daily routines are very important for your kids; it gives structure to their day. It also makes them feel secure when they know what will happen throughout their day. From the moment they wake you and your family has your morning routine, your children have observed and adapt this routine.
From morning greetings to morning bath time, in their baby bath seat, everything that happens at the beginning till the end of your day your child has taken notice of this and made a safety net on your daily routine. And if there are any changes on your daily routine your child can experience stress. Therefore it is important that you explain the changes around your home to your child. For her or him to better understand the situation.
Scheduled activities also helps children organized their day and it will teach them to be constructive when they know what will happen to their day. Children of early age are more dependent on scheduled activities, like in the daily routines are needed to make them feel secure and part of the daily events in the family’s life
This is done with newborn babies till they reach the age of 10 and then they will find their own daily routine. What time you do something is not the effectiveness of the day it is more about doing something at the same time every day. Time setting that allows your family flexibility of their own schedules and routines.
The first major importance of daily a successful daily routine is of course to give your child the sleep he or she needs. Infants need more sleep, and toddler’s need 12 hours sleep throughout the day, bigger kids need their rest but not as much as babies. Scheduling resting time and snack time and lunch as well as playtime is a good idea for your child. Bath time can be done anytime of the day when it is more convenient for you both you can do it before you both head out the door or before bedtime.
Whatever schedule you have for your day is absolutely up to you, as long as it is effective and convenient for the rest of the family and stress free. A basic schedule throughout the day makes your day go smoothly.
